Kyoto Plaza Hotels Co., Ltd. opened the Kyoto Plaza Hotel in 1996 at its current headquarters, following in the footsteps of a lumber store founded in 1930 and a metal surface treatment (plating) business founded in 1944.
Currently, we operate three hotel brands in the Kinki and Chugoku regions, and a total of nine hotels and inns.

The hotel name ``Plaza'' means square in English. Our goal is to create a place for guests to interact with each other for a variety of purposes, and to contribute to the local community. True to this idea, the hotel is now used by a variety of occasions, including leisure, business, educational trips, and groups participating in sports competitions.

We aim to provide not only a place for our customers to rest, but also a place where they can ``heal their mind and body,'' provide them with vitality for tomorrow, and provide peace of mind and ``both body and mind'' in place of their own homes.
