I also started with the feeling that ``I love this job of working with heavy machinery.'' It's a great feeling to operate large, heavy machinery and work on a gigantic site. The heavy machinery used is bulldozers, lift trucks, and shovel loaders.

At the Hyuga coal storage yard, coal is transported to Hososhima Port by large tankers and then transported to the site by dump trucks. The amount of coal is approximately 50,000 tons. A pile of 50,000 tons of coal will be formed on site. Every day, it is loaded onto a transport dump truck and transported by piston between the Nobeoka factory and Hyuga. The amount of coal, the size of the site, and the number of vehicles coming and going are all on an extraordinary scale. A variety of heavy machinery is used for the main work at the site, such as mountain shaping and loading, and you will learn how to operate and work with each type of heavy machinery. Because it is a collaborative team work, it is important to learn the skills thoroughly without rushing. Although the site is large and the heavy machinery is large, it is a workplace with excellent teamwork.
